The first time you use the log monitoring feature, you must authorize Cloud Monitor to access Simple Log Service. After you complete authorization, Cloud Monitor can access Simple Log Service, query statistics, and filter logs.
Prerequisites
Simple Log Service is activated.
When you use Simple Log Service for the first time, you must log on to the Simple Log Service console and activate the service as prompted. For more information, see What is Simple Log Service?
Procedure
Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
In the Service-linked Role for CloudMonitor dialog box, click OK.
