The custom monitoring feature lets you report your monitoring data to Cloud Monitor. You can then create a dashboard and add charts to visualize your data.
Prerequisites
Ensure that you have reported monitoring data. For more information, see Overview.
Procedure
Create a custom dashboard.
Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Click Add Dashboard.
In the Add Dashboard Group dialog box, enter a dashboard name.
Click OK.
Add a custom monitoring chart.
In the area of the custom dashboard, click the dashboard name.
At the top of the page, click .
On the visualization widget panel, select a chart type from the upper-right corner. Configure the settings for the widget, such as Data Source Plugin, Cloud Service, Metric, and Statistical Method.
Return to the dashboard page and click the save icon

View the custom monitoring chart.
After you add the custom monitoring chart, you can view it in one of the following locations:
On the tab.
On the Time Series tab of the Custom Monitoring page.
