You can specify cloud services, resources, and namespaces to use the default template, and then create a business dashboard. After you create a business dashboard, you can change metrics and modify monitoring charts based on your business requirements.
Prerequisites
A namespace is created. For more information, see Create a namespace.
Background information
After you create a business dashboard, a metric import task is automatically created for each selected Alibaba Cloud service. This task appears on the Alibaba Cloud Service Metrics tab of the specified namespace. If you already have an existing import task for a service, the monitoring data is automatically merged. You can view the data on the dashboard only after it has been imported into the namespace.
Procedure

Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Dashboards page, click Create Dashboard in the upper-left corner.
In the Create Dashboard panel, click the Business Dashboard tab.
On the Business Dashboard tab, select Instance Name, Tags, or Resource set, and then configure the related parameters.

Name
The name of the dashboard that you want to create.
Namespace
The name of the namespace. For more information about how to create a namespace, see Create a namespace.
Product
The Alibaba Cloud service whose metrics can be displayed on a dashboard. Valid values:
Elastic Compute Service (ECS)
Server Load Balancer
Elastic IP Address
ApsaraDB RDS
Rules
Cloud Monitor automatically generates a dashboard based on the matching rules that you configure for the instance name.
This parameter is required if you select Instance Name.
Tags
Cloud Monitor automatically generates a dashboard based on the tag that you specify.
This parameter is required if you select Tags.
Resource set
Cloud Monitor automatically generates a dashboard based on the resource group that you specify. For information about how to create a resource group in the Resource Management console, see Create a resource group.
This parameter is required if you select Resource set.
Click OK.
After you create the business dashboard, a metric import task for the specified Alibaba Cloud services is automatically created in the specified namespace. You can modify or delete the task.
In the Tips dialog box, click OK.
The dashboard is created successfully. Wait a few seconds for the data to update. On the Dashboards page, you can find the dashboard and click View in the Actions column.
