Before you use CloudLens for Hologres

Billing

CloudLens for Hologres is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis, same as Log Service.

• Centralized management of eligible Hologres instances in your Alibaba Cloud account (Limitations).

• One-click collection of Hologres SQL audit logs with centralized status management.

• Real-time storage, querying, and analysis of Hologres SQL audit logs.

• Visual reports for auditing Hologres SQL activity.

Created assets

When you enable CloudLens for Hologres, Cloud Monitor automatically creates a Log Service Project named aliyun-product-data-Alibaba-Cloud-account-ID-region-ID and a Logstore named hologres_audit_log in the corresponding region.

• The hologres_audit_log Logstore stores Hologres SQL audit logs for operational reviews and security compliance.

• These logs help auditors identify data access patterns, detect risks such as permission abuse, and verify compliance with security audit requirements.

Limitations

• You can collect logs only from Hologres instances that meet these conditions:

  • The audit log feature is enabled.

  • The instance must run Hologres r2.2.0 or later with the latest minor version.

• CloudLens for Hologres is available in these regions.

Considerations

When you enable CloudLens, the system checks for an existing Log Service Project in your account.

• On first activation, if no Log Service Project exists in your account, the system automatically creates one named aliyun-product-data-Alibaba-Cloud-account-ID-cn-heyuan in the China (Heyuan) region.

• After initial setup, the system checks for an existing Project but no longer auto-creates one in China (Heyuan). To create one manually, use Manage projects.

Delete a project

To delete the aliyun-product-data-Alibaba-Cloud-account-ID-cn-heyuan Project, run this command in Cloud Shell. Replace Alibaba-Cloud-account-ID with your account ID.
