The CloudMonitor agent collects monitoring data from the host operating system. It is regularly upgraded to deliver new features, improve stability, and optimize performance.
Reasons for upgrading
You should upgrade the CloudMonitor agent for the following reasons:

The CloudMonitor agent is regularly updated to introduce new features, resolve stability issues, and optimize performance. If the agent is not updated for an extended period, stability issues such as memory leaks may occur and affect your business.

Older versions of the CloudMonitor agent (3.5.9 and earlier) are no longer maintained. If you encounter an issue with the CloudMonitor agent, first upgrade it to the latest version. If the issue persists, submit a ticket.

If critical security or stability issues are discovered in older versions of the CloudMonitor agent (3.5.9 and earlier), CloudMonitor will issue an announcement and perform a forced upgrade. Monitor the CloudMonitor agent release notes and proactively upgrade to the latest version.
