View an application group

Procedure

1. Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud Resource Monitoring > Application Groups.

3. On the Application Groups tab, click the name of the target application group.

   The Group Overview page displays the following sections: Basic information, Associated Cloud Services, and Others.

4. In the left-side navigation pane of the application group, you can view Group Resources, Dashboards, Fault List, Availability Monitoring, Group Process, System Event, Custom Event, Log Monitoring, Custom Monitoring, Alert History, Alert Rules, and Business Monitoring.

   Feature	Description
   Group Resources	View the resources in the application group and manage cloud services.
   Dashboards	View monitoring details for the resources in the application group. CloudMonitor displays commonly used monitoring data by default. You can change chart types and customize monitoring data to display more information or change the chart format. On the Custom Chart tab, click Add Monitoring Chart to add more metrics. Note To collect operating system metrics for ECS instances, you must install the CloudMonitor agent. For more information, see Install and uninstall the CloudMonitor agent.
   Fault List	View all resources in the application group that have active alerts. This gives you a quick overview of unhealthy instances so you can resolve failures promptly. Note If multiple metrics for the same resource trigger alerts at the same time, the resource appears multiple times in the Fault List. Each entry represents a single metric on a resource in an alert state. If you disable an alert rule that is currently firing, the corresponding entries are removed from the Fault List.
   Availability Monitoring	View availability monitoring tasks for the application group. You can also create, modify, delete, enable, or disable tasks.
   Group Process	View process monitoring records for the application group. You can also create, modify, or delete process monitoring tasks.
   System Event	View system events in the application group. You can also create, delete, or modify alert rules for system events. Rule changes are recorded for auditing. You can view event alert records from the last 90 days.
   Custom Event	View custom events in the application group. You can also create, delete, or modify alert rules for custom events. Rule changes are recorded for auditing. You can view event alert records from the last 90 days.
   Log Monitoring	View log monitoring records in the application group. You can also create, modify, or delete log monitoring tasks.
   Custom Monitoring	View custom monitoring records for the application group. You can also delete records or configure alert rules.
   Alert History	View the alert history for all alert rules in the application group.
   Alert Rules	View alert rules for the application group. You can disable, enable, or modify specific rules from the list.
   Business Monitoring	View Managed Service for Prometheus monitoring data, on-premises log monitoring data, Simple Log Service log monitoring data, and custom monitoring data in the application group. You can also create data ingestion tasks, alerts, and dashboards.
