Alibaba Cloud DNS Internal DNS Resolution Log Integration

Prerequisites

• You have activated Simple Log Service (SLS).

• You have activated Observability Monitoring Prometheus Service and Hybrid Cloud Monitoring.

• If you use a RAM user, grant the AliyunCloudMonitorFullAccess system policy. For more information, see Grant permissions.

Pricing

• Integrating metrics incurs Hybrid Cloud Monitoring real-time export fees and Observability Monitoring Prometheus fees.

• Log integration is billed according to Simple Log Service (SLS) pricing.

Data Integration

1. Log on to the Cloud Monitor 2.0 console, select a workspace, and then click Integration Center in the left-side navigation pane.

2. Find and click the Internal DNS Resolution Logs card to start integration.

3. New or select an existing integration policy, select an entity scope, and then click OK.

4. In the integration configuration section, select the observable data to integrate, and then click OK:

   Configuration Item	Description
   Access Name	Optional. Enter a name for this configuration.
   Internal DNS Resolution Logs	Logs are saved by default to aliyun-product-data-{{ accountId }}-{{ VPC region }}/dns_log. Before you collect logs, enable the internal DNS resolution service in the Alibaba Cloud DNS console.

5. After the integration is complete, you can view the integrated entities and their observable data in Entity Explorer.

Storage Policy

After you integrate Alibaba Cloud DNS internal DNS resolution logs, Cloud Monitor creates SLS stores and Prometheus instances to store the observable data.

Uninstall or Modify an Integration Policy

To cancel or modify Alibaba Cloud DNS internal DNS resolution log integration, go to the Integration Center and click the Integration Management tab. Find the integration policy and click Edit or Delete.
