This document describes the resource ownership rules and billing methods for Alibaba Cloud services.-Cloud Monitor(CMS)-阿里云帮助中心

CloudMonitor 2.0 services and applications store data in Simple Log Service (SLS). Each service or application creates or uses specific SLS Projects for data storage, with different billing policies.

Note

Free resources in the billing policy apply only to system-created Logstores within a Project. Logstores that you manually create are billed at standard SLS rates.

Application Observability Real User Monitoring	proj-xtrace-{md5}-{regionId}	Stores logs and metrics for ARMS. Created by ARMS and Real User Monitoring.	Billed by ARMS. SLS fees are incurred only when you configure data processing operations, such as data transformation, data shipping, or data consumption, in the SLS console.
Alert Center	cms-alert-center-{userId}-{regionId}	Stores alert event data for the Alert Center.	Free resource.
Container Insight	k8s-log-{clusterID}	Stores container event logs and metrics for Container Insight.	Log storage is billed by SLS. By default, a Metricstore for metric storage is created with a name that starts with `aliyun-prom-`. The Metricstore is billed by Prometheus Service.
Prometheus Service	workspace-${workspaceName}	Stores metrics for the corresponding Prometheus instance.	Billed by Prometheus Service. SLS fees are incurred only when you configure data processing operations, such as data transformation, data shipping, or data consumption, in the SLS console.
Prometheus Service	acs-custom-monitor-{userId}	Migrated from an existing Hybrid Cloud Monitoring metric repository.	Billed by Hybrid Cloud Monitoring. SLS fees are incurred only when you configure data processing operations, such as data transformation, data shipping, or data consumption, in the SLS console.
Synthetic Monitoring	syn-${workspaceName}	Stores probe data for Synthetic Monitoring.	Free resource.
Log Auditing	ws-${workspaceName}	Stores logs from dependent Alibaba Cloud services, such as ECS audit logs and ECS runtime logs.	Logs are billed by SLS. Metrics are billed by Prometheus Service.
CloudLens	oss-log-{userId}-{regionId}	Stores OSS access logs for the CloudLens application.	Billed by SLS.
CloudLens	aliyun-product-data-{userId}-{regionId}	Stores logs and metrics from various Alibaba Cloud services for the CloudLens application.	Logs are billed by SLS. Metrics are billed by Prometheus Service.
CloudLens	pai-eas-o11y-{userId}-{regionId}	Stores logs and metrics from PAI-EAS for the CloudLens application.	Logs are billed by SLS. Metrics are billed by Prometheus Service.
SLS Self-Monitoring	log-service-{userId}-{regionId}	Stores self-monitoring logs and metrics for SLS.	The collection, storage, query, and analysis of important logs, task operational logs, and audit logs are free. Fees are incurred only when you configure data processing operations, such as data transformation, data shipping, or data consumption, in the SLS console. Detailed logs are billed by SLS. The billing method is the same as for a standard Logstore. Billing logs do not incur extra fees. The associated Projects and Tablestore instances are free.
Cost Manager	bill-analysis-{userId}	Stores bill data for Cost Manager. Created by the SLS Self-Monitoring application.	Free resource.
