View a service instance

Updated at:

After you publish a service, Compute Nest tracks every instance your customers create from it. Use the service instance management feature to monitor instance status, review configurations, and perform O&M operations across your entire customer base.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • Published at least one service in Compute Nest

  • Service provider access to the Compute Nest console

Service providers cannot view private service instances for which the hosted O&M feature is disabled. For those instances, clicking the service instance ID or Details in the Actions column has no effect.

View customer service instances

  1. Log on to the Compute Nest console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Service Instance. On the Service Instance page, click the Customer's Service Instances tab. The Service Instance page has two tabs:

    Tab Description
My Service Instance Service instances you created from other service providers' services
Customer's Service Instances Service instances your customers created from your service
  3. On the Customer's Service Instances tab, select the type of service instance to view.

On the Trial Service tab, click Extend Validity Period in the Actions column to extend the trial duration of a service instance.
  4. Review the instance list. The Service Instance ID, Status, and Service ID/Name columns provide an overview of each instance.

  5. Click the service instance name or Details in the Actions column to open the Service Instance Details page.

Service instance details

The Service Instance Details page provides tabs for monitoring and managing a service instance.

Tab What you can do
Overview The Basic Information section displays Status, Service Instance Name, Created, Modified, Cost Analysis, Resource Group, and Endpoint fields. The Service Information section shows Private Network Access Information with a CLI command example for connecting to an ECS instance using ali-instance-cli portforward with parameters --instanceId, --accessKeyId, --accessKeySecret, and --region.
Resource ID View resource details (resource ID, status, resource type, IP address, payment method, expiration time, and renewal method). Start, stop, restart, connect to, record screens for, and run commands on individual resources

You can switch between Group and Instance dimensions and select a time range from 1 hour to 14 days.
