Compute Nest SaaS Boost is a development tool and framework from Alibaba Cloud. It helps Software as a Service (SaaS) developers quickly build, deploy, scale, and sell SaaS applications based on Compute Nest. It provides a set of out-of-the-box features and components. This lets you focus on developing business logic and greatly reduces the complexity and cost of developing SaaS applications.

Deployment modes
ECS mode: The main service is deployed on an Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance, and scheduled tasks are published to Alibaba Cloud Function Compute (FC). This mode includes an Apsara Devops pipeline, which allows service providers to implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) directly after modifying the code. ACK mode: The service is deployed to the corresponding Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) cluster using Helm. This mode does not include a pipeline. You must package the server-side image yourself. The main service contains the Boost.server and Boost.front code. You also need to package the Job image (Boost.serverless) and manage it yourself.
Billing
Compute Nest SaaS Boost is free of charge. However, you are charged resource fees when you deploy Compute Nest SaaS Boost on ECS or ACK.

Selling with SaaS Boost
After a service provider publishes a service in the Compute Nest console and deploys an instance using Compute Nest SaaS Boost, the provider can list the Compute Nest service as a product on SaaS Boost. This establishes a transaction link for the Compute Nest service and supports Alipay and WeChat as payment methods.
Sell by period
Selling by period is a subscription-based model. This means that customers purchase a service for a fixed period, such as a year or a month, and renew it periodically.
Billing capabilities
When selling by period, you can define different product plans or directly price the service for flexible billing. For example, if a software has a Basic Edition and a Premium Edition with different prices, the price changes when a user switches between the editions.
Payment platform binding
Using Compute Nest SaaS Boost, you can quickly enable product sales through Alipay and WeChat. It supports Alipay's key and certificate modes and WeChat's v3 certificate mode. You can use the parameter management feature in SaaS Boost to easily bind your merchant account. This directly links your sales revenue to your Alipay or WeChat account.
