Usage guide

The overall workflow for CPFS for Lingjun is as follows:

  1. Activate the Cloud Parallel File Storage (CPFS) service.

    When you log on to the NAS console for the first time, activate the CPFS service as prompted.

  2. Submit a ticket to apply for the whitelist for the CPFS for Lingjun service.

  3. Create a file system.

  4. (Optional) Add a VPC mount target.

    If you want to use the file system in PAI general computing resources, you must create a VPC mount target. The mount target establishes network connectivity between CPFS for Lingjun and the PAI service so that you can mount and access the file system.

  5. Mount and access the file system.

    Data flow for CPFS for Lingjun (public preview)

    Enables continuous, file-level data flow between CPFS for Lingjun file systems and OSS buckets.

    Data monitoring

    CPFS is seamlessly integrated with Cloud Monitor. Using capacity monitoring and performance monitoring, you can view the storage capacity usage, read/write throughput, and read/write input/output operations per second (IOPS) of your file system. By setting alert rules for important monitoring metrics, you can promptly detect and handle exceptions.

    Data migration

    Easily migrate data between CPFS file systems using the Data Online Migration service.

    Log management

    CPFS, in collaboration with Simple Log Service, provides a log analysis feature. This feature offers a one-stop service for real-time collection, query, analysis, processing, and consumption of CPFS access logs.

    Data backup

    CPFS, in collaboration with Alibaba Cloud Backup, provides a cost-effective and efficient data protection solution for CPFS. Cloud Backup offers advanced data protection capabilities, such as multi-node concurrent scanning, storage API integration, deduplication, and compression. It is easy to configure, delivers excellent performance, and is low-cost. If issues such as accidental file deletion occur, you can recover data from a backup vault in Cloud Backup to ensure data security.
