FAQ
This topic lists frequently asked questions about CPFS for Lingjun to help you quickly understand the service.
What scenarios is CPFS for Lingjun suitable for?
CPFS for Lingjun is an ultra-high performance file storage service. It supports an end-to-end Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) network and is used in intelligent computing scenarios, such as AIGC and autonomous driving.
What are the advantages of CPFS for Lingjun?
CPFS for Lingjun provides stable performance. A single file system can support up to 2 TB/s and 30,000,000 IOPS.
What is the performance of CPFS for Lingjun?
CPFS for Lingjun provides hundreds of gigabytes of bandwidth, millions of IOPS, and sub-millisecond latency. The specific bandwidth and IOPS depend on the size of the file system that you purchase.
How can I change the performance of a CPFS for Lingjun file system?
The size and performance of a file system are fixed after creation and cannot be changed directly. However, you can upgrade the specifications of an existing file system. When you select larger specifications, the performance increases accordingly.
How do I enable the service and create a CPFS for Lingjun file system?
After you register and log on to Alibaba Cloud and enable the NAS service, submit a ticket to be added to the whitelist for the CPFS for Lingjun service. Then, log on to the NAS console. Before you create a CPFS for Lingjun file system, you must grant authorization to the CPFS product. Billing for Cloud Parallel File Storage (CPFS) starts after the file system is created. You can then mount the CPFS for Lingjun file system on PAI compute resources. The mounting method varies based on the PAI compute resource type. For more information, see Create a file system.
How do I monitor a CPFS for Lingjun file system?
You can view the running status of a CPFS file system on the Performance Monitoring page in the NAS console or on the Performance Monitoring tab of the file system's details page. Monitored metrics include IOPS, throughput, latency, and metadata QPS.
What is the data reliability of CPFS?
The backend of a CPFS file system uses a multi-replica redundancy mechanism to provide 99.9999999% (nine nines) of data durability.
How is CPFS billed?
CPFS is billed based on storage type, size, and duration. For more information, see Billing.
What is the Service-Level Agreement (SLA) for CPFS?
The service availability of CPFS is at least 99.5%.
What access protocols does CPFS for Lingjun support?
CPFS for Lingjun supports only the POSIX protocol.
