Zone-redundant storage for CPFS General-purpose Edition | CPFS General-purpose Edition offers enterprise-grade zone-redundant storage. Data is distributed across multiple zones within the same region. This provides 99.999999999% data reliability and 99.99% availability. If a zone becomes unavailable due to a disaster, the system performs an automatic failover to ensure business continuity. | 2025-12-29 |
| |
CPFS server-side encryption | Protects data at rest. This prevents data breaches if physical disks are lost or stolen. | 2025-12-29 |
| |
CPFS encryption in transit | Protects data in transit. This prevents data from being intercepted or tampered with during transmission. | 2025-12-29 |

CPFS file system performance upgrade | CPFS has upgraded the throughput and input/output operations per second (IOPS) for file systems with 100 MB/s/TiB and 200 MB/s/TiB baselines in select regions. After the upgrade, throughput can reach up to 45,000 MBps and IOPS can reach up to 7,200,000. The throughput and IOPS in other regions remain unchanged. Note This upgrade applies only to newly created file systems. | 2024-01-31 |
