You can view the overview of a file system on its details page, including file system storage specifications, file system resource usage, file system version, protocol type, version number, and other information.
Query file system resource usage
-
Log on to the NAS console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose File System > File System List.
-
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
-
Find the target file system and click the file system ID or Manage to go to the file system details page, where you can view the CPFS usage and maximum capacity of the file system.
Query the file system list
-
Log on to the NAS console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose File System > File System List.
-
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
-
On the File System List page, you can view all file systems in the current region. You can also modify the name of a file system.
Query the file system version number
-
Log on to the NAS console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose File System > File System List.
-
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
-
On the File System List page, click the target file system.
-
On the file system Basic Information page, view the file system version number.
Query file system performance metrics
You can view the performance monitoring of a file system in the following two ways.
-
View on the file system details page
-
Log on to the NAS console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose File System > File System List.
-
On the File System List page, click the target file system.
-
On the file system details page, click Performance Monitoring.
-
On the Performance Monitoring tab, you can view performance monitoring metrics such as IOPS and data throughput.
If you use a protocol service to access the CPFS file system, you can view the NFS performance monitoring metric charts on this page.
-
View on the performance monitoring page
-
Log on to the NAS console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose > .
-
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
-
On the page, follow these steps to view the performance monitoring details for a specific file system.
-
From the File System Type drop-down list, select CPFS.
-
Select the ID of the file system from the File System ID drop-down list.
-
Select a time range, such as 1 Hour, 1 Day, 7 Days, 14 Days, Current Month, or Last Month, or specify a custom time range. The time range cannot exceed 30 days.
The Performance Monitoring page displays charts for four main metric categories: IOPS, throughput, latency, and metadata QPS.
If you access the file system using the NFS protocol, the page also displays performance monitoring charts for NFS.

Note
-
The No Data message on a chart indicates that the file system has not received requests from a client or that the corresponding service is not enabled.
-
To generate write throughput data, you can run the fio command on the client where the CPFS file system is mounted. For example, assume that the CPFS file system is mounted to the /mnt directory. For more information about file system performance testing, see Performance testing.
fio -direct=1 -ioengine=libaio -iodepth=1 -rw=write -bs=1m -size=1G -numjobs=256 -runtime=600 -time_based=1 -group_reporting -directory="/mnt" -name=Seq_Write_Testing
Query file system capacity metrics
You can view the capacity monitoring of a CPFS file system in the following two ways.
-
View on the file system details page
-
Log on to the NAS console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose File System > File System List.
-
On the File System List page, click the target file system.
-
On the file system details page, click .
-
On the Capacity Monitoring tab, you can view storage space and file count monitoring metrics.
-
View on the capacity monitoring page
-
Log on to the NAS console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Monitoring Audit > .
-
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
On the Capacity Monitoring page, do the following to view capacity monitoring details for a CPFS file system:
From the File System Type drop-down list, select CPFS.
Select the ID of the file system from the File System ID drop-down list.
Select a query time period (1 Hour, 1 Day, 7 Day, 14 days, Current Month, or Last Month), or select a custom date range in the custom time box. The date range cannot exceed 30 days. If you need to view capacity data for more than one month, see Resource usage and bills.
The Capacity Monitoring page displays charts for two main categories: Storage Space and Number of Files.
Storage Space: includes metrics for total storage space and used space.
File count: includes maximum file count, allocated file count, used file count, fileset allocated file count, fileset used file count, root fileset allocated file count, and root fileset used file count.
Note The root fileset is the default fileset of a file system. It contains all files that do not belong to any independently created filesets.
For more information about the metrics, see Metrics.
Query the storage redundancy type of a file system
-
Log on to the CPFS console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose File System > File System List.
-
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
-
On the File System List page, click the target file system.
-
On the file system Basic Information page, view the storage redundancy type of the file system.
