Overdue payments
If your account has an overdue balance, Alibaba Cloud may suspend your Cell Phone Number Service. Set up low balance alerts to avoid service interruptions.
Service suspension due to overdue payments
Bills are generated within 4 hours after a billing cycle ends. The system automatically deducts the bill amount from your account balance. If your available credit (account balance, vouchers, and coupons) cannot cover the bill, your account becomes overdue.
Overdue payment notifications
When your account becomes overdue, the system immediately sends a payment reminder by text message or email.
Service suspension
If your account is overdue, Alibaba Cloud suspends your services. This applies if you have not enabled service suspension protection or if your overdue amount exceeds the protection limit. Pay the overdue amount promptly to prevent business losses.
Alibaba Cloud offers service suspension protection, which lets you continue using pay-as-you-go resources for a specific period or up to a certain amount after your account becomes overdue. Billing continues during this period. The protection limit is not a cap on your total overdue balance. Your protection limit and duration are calculated and updated monthly based on your spending history and other factors. For more information, see service suspension protection.
Settle overdue payments and resume service
View your overdue payment information in the User Center. Add funds to your account to clear the balance. After you settle the payment, your services resume.
Low balance alerts
Enable low balance alerts. When your account balance falls below the threshold you set, the system sends you a reminder by text message or email.
