A savings plan offers discounted pay-as-you-go rates in exchange for a daily spending commitment over a fixed term. Active plans automatically apply discounts to eligible Container Compute Service (ACS) bills.

This daily commitment model suits workloads with fluctuating demand, reducing costs during low-traffic periods.

Payment options

Payment option	Description
Full upfront	Pay the full amount at the time of purchase. No other fees are charged during the term.
No upfront	Make no payment at the time of purchase. You are billed daily during the term.

For example, if you purchase a 1-year savings plan with a daily commitment of CNY 1, the total cost is $CNY 1 / day \times 365 = CNY 365$ . The payment details for the two payment options are as follows:

Full upfront: Pay the full amount of CNY 365 at the time of purchase.
No upfront: Make no payment at the time of purchase. You are billed CNY 1 per day during the term.

Eligible resources

Important

A savings plan covers the accumulated daily pay-as-you-go costs for general-purpose, compute-optimized, GPU, and GPU reserved capacity instances in the same region as the plan. GPU-HPN instances are not eligible.
BestEffort instances are not currently eligible for savings plan discounts.
GPU and GPU reserved capacity instances are not currently eligible for discounts under a 3-month savings plan.

Deduction example

For example, you purchase a 1-year, full upfront savings plan in the China (Beijing) region with a daily commitment of CNY 100. You make a one-time payment of $CNY 100 / day \times 365 = CNY 36,500$ and receive a 43% discount.

This savings plan can cover daily pay-as-you-go bills for instances within the scope of eligible resources in the China (Beijing) region, up to a list price value of approximately $CNY 175 (100 / 0.57)$ . If your daily pay-as-you-go spending is CNY 175 or less, no extra payment is required. If your spending exceeds CNY 175, the excess amount is billed at standard pay-as-you-go rates.
