The following tables list the regions and region IDs where CSG is available. Use the region ID when configuring API calls, SDKs, or CLI tools.

Choose a region
When selecting a region, consider the following:
Proximity to your users: Choose the region closest to your end users to reduce latency.
Co-location with other services: Place CSG in the same region as your other Alibaba Cloud services (such as OSS buckets) to enable private network communication and reduce data transfer costs.
Compliance requirements: Some industries require data to remain within specific geographic boundaries. Finance Cloud and Gov Cloud regions are designed for regulated workloads and require a separate application.
