Delayed upload for file gateways: Scenarios and configuration
File gateways support delayed uploads. Data that you write is delayed for a specified period before it is uploaded to OSS.
Scenarios
Frequently accessing a file while it is being uploaded can trigger multiple uploads. This process consumes a large amount of bandwidth, especially for large files. By delaying the upload until the file is completely written to the file gateway, you can reduce bandwidth consumption and improve upload efficiency.
Configure delayed upload
You can enable the Synchronization Latency feature when you create a share. For more information, see Create a share.
