Why does the sync status of a share always show "Upload Incomplete"?

Updated at:

If the sync status of your file share always shows Upload Incomplete, troubleshoot the issue by performing the following steps:

  1. Check the OSS Health Status metric of the share and ensure it is OSS Connection Normal. Check as follows:

Locate the target share and view the OSS Health Status field on the share details page.

    Note

If OSS Health Status is not OSS Connection Normal:

    • Check whether the OSS bucket you are using exists. If it does not exist, use an existing OSS bucket.

    • Check whether the OSS bucket has an authorization policy configured that prevents the gateway from accessing the bucket.

  2. Check whether any application is continuously writing data to the share.

The sync status of a file share always showing Upload Incomplete is usually because a client is continuously writing data, causing the gateway to keep generating new upload tasks. If OSS Health Status is normal, simply stop the write operations and the sync status will soon change to Upload Complete.

If the issue persists after the preceding troubleshooting, submit a ticket to contact us.
