This topic describes how to use the Lead Pool. The Lead Pool includes the content from the original Quote Management feature on 1688.com.
Definitions
Lead Pool: A collection of all business opportunities related to you. This includes opportunities you have quoted, opportunities to which you were invited, public bid announcements, and favorited opportunities.
Opportunity follow-up (formerly Quote Management)
On the Cloud Opportunities page, go to Lead Pool > Opportunity Follow-up to view historical quotes and requests for quotation (RFQs). Go to the page
Bids and proposals cannot be viewed in Cloud Opportunities at this time. You can log on to the 1688 Workbench to manage them (Log on to the 1688 Workbench). If you cannot perform this operation, contact us through the chatbot in the lower-right corner of the Cloud Opportunities console. We will assist you as soon as possible.
You can filter by opportunity status, such as Quoted or Won, to view the corresponding requests for quotation (RFQs).
If the bid announcement for an RFQ is public, the View Announcement button appears on the right. Click this button to view the bid award information for the RFQ.
Alternatively, you can click Details to go to the RFQ details page and then click View Announcement on the right.
1. Buyers choose whether to make the results public. Therefore, announcement information may not be available for some RFQs after bidding closes.
2. After a buyer selects a winner, it does not mean that the buyer has placed an order. You must wait for the buyer to place the order. For more information, see Order Operations.
Click View Details to view the quote details.
Invited opportunities
Invited opportunities are from buyers who invite suppliers to submit a quote when they publish an RFQ. When you receive an invitation, the opportunity is synced to Lead Pool > Invited Opportunities. From there, you can view the opportunity details and submit a quote.
Buyers send invitations to 1688 accounts. Confirm that you are logged on with the invited 1688 account or have attached the correct 1688 account. You can go to the My Profile page to check the attached 1688 account information at the bottom of the page.
My favorites
Go to Lead Pool > My Favorites to find your favorited opportunities or bid announcements.
Filter favorites
You can enter keywords and click Query to find a specific opportunity.
You can also filter by opportunity type.
Remove from favorites
If you have already quoted or viewed the details and no longer need to track an item, you can click Remove from Favorites.
View opportunity details
Click View Details to view the opportunity or bid announcement information.
