This topic describes how to use the Smart Subscription feature.

Smart Subscription

The Smart Subscription feature lets you define custom filters and rules for business opportunities and companies. Cloud Business Opportunities then pushes opportunities and companies that match your criteria.

Lead Subscription: This feature pushes targeted business opportunities based on subscription rules. You can set rules using criteria such as material, subject matter keywords, subject matter value, region, industry, and category.

Company Subscription: This feature pushes leads and business opportunities related to specific companies. You can set rules based on company names.

Go to the Cloud Business Opportunities home page and click Smart Subscription. The page has two sections: Lead Subscription and Company Subscription. You can switch between them.

Note: Smart Subscription is a paid feature. Click here to view benefits and purchase>>

Add a rule

On the Lead Subscription page, click Add Rule. Fill in the rule details and click Confirm to create a new lead subscription rule.

To create a company subscription, go to the Company Subscription page. Click Add Rule, enter the company name, and click Confirm. This creates a new company subscription rule.

Manage my subscription rules

On the Lead Subscription or Company Subscription page, find the My Subscription Rules section. From the drop-down list, select a subscription rule and click Manage to edit it. After you make changes, click Confirm to update the rule, or click Delete this rule to delete it.

View subscribed opportunities

On the Lead Subscription or Company Subscription page, select a rule from the My Subscription Rules drop-down list. The business opportunities pushed based on that rule appear in the list below.

Note

After you set a rule, new business opportunities that match the rule are pushed to the list at 8:00 AM the next day. Check the list regularly for updates.

Purge business opportunities

If you are not interested in some of the pushed business opportunities, you can click Purge Business Opportunities. Then, select a purge scope to remove the unwanted opportunities for that rule.
