This topic describes the editions of Database Autonomy Service (DAS) and the features, database engines, and regions that each edition supports. This helps you choose the right DAS edition or look up the features available in your current edition.
Edition overview
Basic Edition: This edition is free of charge. It supports centralized management of multiple database engines and provides database problem diagnosis and performance optimization to meet daily database O&M needs.
Economy Edition: This is a paid edition. Building on the Basic Edition, it supports lightweight autonomy services, introduces features like Automatic fragment reclamation and performance insight (new version), and enhances features such as session management and lock analysis.
Enterprise Edition: This edition is pay-as-you-go. Building on the Economy Edition, it provides the SQL Explorer and Audit feature. It supports hybrid storage of hot and cold data and offers flexible billing with charges itemized by feature usage. This edition can save you up to 20% compared to similar domestic products and over 80% compared to their international counterparts.
ImportantYou can no longer activate Enterprise Edition V0, V1, or V2 for new instances, and you can no longer increase the quota for Enterprise Edition V1. You can migrate from Enterprise Edition V1 and V2 to Enterprise Edition V3 free of charge. Before the migration is complete, you are billed based on your current edition. After the migration, you are billed based on the target edition.
Billing items vary by edition. For more information, see Billing details.
