This topic describes how to connect an Alibaba Cloud database instance to Database Autonomy Service (DAS).
Prerequisites

The database instance must be one of the following types:

ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL, PolarDB for MySQL, or ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL

ApsaraDB RDS for PostgreSQL or PolarDB for PostgreSQL
-
ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server or ApsaraDB MyBase for SQL Server
-
ApsaraDB for Redis or ApsaraDB MyBase for Redis
-
PolarDB for PostgreSQL (Compatible with Oracle)
-
PolarDB-X 2.0
-
ApsaraDB for MongoDB

The target database instance and DAS must be in the same Alibaba Cloud account.
Procedure
DAS automatically connects to Alibaba Cloud database instances upon creation. If this automatic connection fails, you can connect your instance to DAS manually.
Log on to the DAS console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Intelligent O&M Center > Instance Monitoring.

In the upper-right corner of the page, click Access Instance.

Click Alibaba Cloud Database.

Filter the database instances that you want to connect using the parameters in the following table. Select the target database instance and click Access instance.

Select Engine:
Select your database engine type.
Access Status:
Select the access status of the database instance.
Region
Select the instance's region.
Instance ID/Name
Select the target instance.

Click Add More to connect another database instance, or click Complete to finish.
