Database Autonomy Service (DAS) monitors your database instances and sends notifications when exceptions occur or metric values exceed defined thresholds. Use instance alerts to catch database issues early and maintain stability during routine O&M.
The alerting feature lets you customize:
Alert metrics — the specific indicators to monitor
Alert thresholds — the values that trigger a notification
Autonomy events — the self-healing actions that DAS can trigger automatically
When an exception occurs or a metric value exceeds the specified threshold, DAS immediately notifies the contacts you specify.
