The Database Autonomy Service (DAS) instance session feature lets you view, export, and terminate sessions on a target database instance.

Prerequisites

The target database instance must be connected to DAS and have a status of Normal Access.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DAS console.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Intelligent O&M Center > Instance Monitoring .

  3. Find the target instance and click the instance ID to open the instance details page.

  4. In the navigation pane on the left, click Instance Sessions.

  5. On the Instance Sessions page, you can manage the current sessions of the instance in the Instance Sessions and Session Statistics sections. The Instance Sessions section supports Refresh, Auto-refresh, active session filtering, and search. To terminate sessions, click Terminate Selected or Terminate All. This section also displays metrics such as the number of exceptional sessions, the number of active sessions, the longest execution duration, and CPU utilization. The session list includes information such as PID, access source, database, user, and query time. The Session Statistics section displays a session overview that includes the total number of sessions, the total number of running sessions, and the longest session duration. It also provides statistics grouped by user, access source, and database.

    • Terminate sessions.

    • View instance session metrics, such as the number of exceptional and active sessions, the longest execution duration, and CPU utilization.

    • View session statistics, including a session overview (total sessions, running sessions, longest session duration) and breakdowns of total and active session counts by user, access source, and database.

    • Export session statistics, including summary information and data grouped by user, access source, and database.
