Create a logical aggregate table
Dataphin lets you create empty logical aggregate tables without derived metrics, which you can use to register and attach metrics developed through code. This topic describes how to create a logical aggregate table without derived metrics.
Prerequisites
Before performing this operation, ensure you have created a logical table for the business object. For more information, see Logical dimension table.
Procedure
In the top menu bar of the Dataphin homepage, select Development > Data Development.
In the top menu bar, select a project (in Dev-Prod mode, you need to select an environment).
In the navigation pane on the left, select Standardized Modeling > Logical Summary Table.
In the logical aggregate table list, click the
icon to open the Create Logical Aggregate Table dialog box.In the Create Logical Aggregate Table dialog box, configure the parameters.
Parameter
Description
Statistic Timeliness
Supports Day (T+1), Hour (T+h), or Minute (T+m), with Day as the default.
Statistic Granularity
You can select business objects corresponding to all Published logical tables in the current module.
NoteIf a logical aggregate table already exists for the selected statistic granularity, you cannot create another one.
Table Name
By default, the system uses an underscore (_) to connect the selected business object's object encoding and timeliness (_dd/_hh/_mm) as the table name. You can edit and modify this name.
Supports letters, numbers, or underscores (_), up to 110 characters.
Description
Enter a basic description of the logical table.
Click OK.
What to do next
After creating the logical aggregate table, you can add derived metrics, derived indicators, or attach registered metrics to it. For more information, see
