Create an audience group by import
Dataphin lets you create audience groups by importing local files. This topic describes how to create an audience group by import.
Prerequisites
Before you create an audience group by import, you must create the corresponding entity. For more information, see or Create and manage entities.
Procedure
On the Dataphin home page, click Tag in the top menu bar. The Asset Marketplace page appears.
Follow the steps in the figure to go to the Audience Group Management console and click New Audience Group.
In the New Audience Group dialog box, click Audience Group Import.
On the New Audience Group (Audience Group Import) configuration page, configure the parameters in the Basic Information and Import Configuration sections.
Basic Information

Description
Audience Group Name
Naming convention:
The name can be up to 64 characters long and can contain Chinese characters, English letters, digits, and underscores (_).
Audience Group Code
The unique identifier for the audience group. The code can be up to 64 characters long and can contain English letters and underscores (_).
Owner
Select an owner for this audience group.
Description
Enter a brief description of the audience group, up to 1,000 characters in length.
Import Configuration

Upload File
Click File Template to download the template to your local computer. After you fill in the template, click the Upload button to upload the configuration file. The supported file name extensions are .txt and .csv. The file size cannot exceed 300 MB.
Audience Group ID Type
Select the corresponding entity and entity ID.
Click Submit to create the audience group.
After you create the audience group, you must publish it before it can be used. In the audience group management list, click the
icon in the Actions column to publish the audience group.In the Publish Audience Group dialog box, select the version of the audience group that you want to publish.
NoteBefore you publish, you can click View Version Comparison to view the details and differences for each version. This lets you review and confirm the changes before publishing.
Click OK to publish the audience group.
What to do next
After you create and publish the audience group, you can list it in the marketplace. This lets you manage the group, use it for audience segmentation, and create audience group services. For more information, see or List or delist an audience group.
