Tag platform settings

Configuring the Dataphin tag platform is essential for utilizing its tag module features. This includes setting up the time field and service datasource to enable tag-related online services. Time field configuration encompasses primary, secondary, and tertiary partition field settings for tag tables, along with timestamp field settings for real-time events. By establishing frequently used partition fields and timestamp fields as platform defaults, you can streamline tag development and reduce both labor and maintenance costs. This topic provides guidance on configuring the tag platform.

Prerequisites

The Tag Factory's value-added service has been activated. For more information, please seehow to activate Dataphin.

Procedure

1. Navigate to Management Center > System Settings from the top menu bar on the Dataphin home page.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, go to Platform Settings > Tag Platform.

3. On the Tag Platform page, configure the following parameters:

   • Time Field Configuration

     Parameter	Description
     Default Partition Field Settings for Source Table	Designates the default partition field for offline datasets and behavior relationship source tables. Once set, adjustments can be made when selecting the source table. Field Name: Accepts only English letters, numbers, or underscores (_), and must be within 64 characters. Field Format: Allows setting yyyyMMdd and yyyy-MM-dd as field formats. Important Modifications are discouraged as they may disrupt the operation of published tags.
     Partition Field Settings for Tag Platform Result Table	Applies to partition fields for offline datasets, tags, and audience group result tables within the tag platform. These settings are immutable post-configuration and must be consistent across the platform.
     Real-time Event Time Field Settings	These are preset by the system and cannot be edited.

   • Service Datasource Configuration:

     This datasource is designated for the tag's online service and cannot be configured at this time.

4. To finalize the tag platform configuration, click Save.
