Static masking
The system enables the use of desensitization algorithm functions within code tasks to anonymize fields and persist the anonymized data to target tables in both development and production environments.
Static masking operation guide
-
Navigate to the Dataphin home page, select Administration > Data Security from the top menu bar.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Sensitive Data Protection > Desensitization Rule. On the Desensitization Rule page, single click the Static Masking tab to access the static masking options.
-
Follow the steps below to apply static masking rules:
-
Step 1: Install the algorithm package
In the asset security module, install the algorithm package for the project that needs to use the desensitization algorithm. You can configure the security policy for the project uniformly. For configuration details, see Project Security Policy.
-
Step 2: View the desensitization algorithm description
The desensitization algorithm uses methods such as hashing and masking to desensitize sensitive data (such as names, accounts, phone numbers, etc.). You can view the usage instructions of the desensitization algorithm to understand its usage. For details, see Desensitization Algorithm Page Introduction.
-
Step 3: Test the desensitization algorithm
Once you have grasped the application of the desensitization algorithm in Step 2, proceed to test it to observe the final effect. For testing procedures, refer to and Test Security Algorithm.
-
Step 4: Apply desensitization in computing tasks
When handling computing tasks, you can utilize desensitization algorithm functions to retrieve necessary data and subsequently store the desensitized information in the designated table. For configuration details, see Create MAX_COMPUTE_SQL Task or .
