A manual task is submitted to the O&M center and configured with a manual scheduling type. An instance is generated only when you manually trigger a run. This topic describes the O&M features for manual tasks.
Manual task page
In the top navigation bar of the Dataphin homepage, choose R&D > O&M.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose O&M > Manual Task to open the Manual Task page.
In the top navigation bar, select a production environment or development environment.
Manual task page overview
The Manual Task page consists of a filter and search area, a filter area, a manual task list, and a batch operations area. On this page, you can manage manual tasks.

① Filter and search area | To quickly find a specific task, filter by its name or ID. You can also select My Tasks or Updated Today to filter the list.

③ Manual task list | Manual tasks submitted to the O&M center are displayed in a list. The list shows the Task Object, priority, person in charge of O&M, project, scheduling resource group, Last Update Time, tag, and available Actions for each task. You can adjust the width of each column. Your settings are saved in your browser. Clearing your browser's history and cookies resets them.

④ Batch operations area | You can perform O&M operations on multiple manual tasks at once to improve efficiency. For more information, see Batch operations. |
Supported actions
Action | Description |
View Node Code | Displays the node code of the task. |
View Instances | View the manual instances generated by task runs and manage them. |
Run | Manually trigger a task run. For more information, see Running a manual task. |
Edit Development Node | Opens the task's edit page in the Dev project. This action is available only in the Dev-Prod development mode. Note After editing the development node, you must submit or publish it to apply the changes to the production environment. |
Edit Node | Edit a task node. This action is available only in Basic mode. Note After editing the node, you must submit or publish it to apply the changes to the production environment. |
View Node Script | View the dependency graph of a pipeline task. Note This action is available only for manual tasks submitted from the Data Integration module. |
View Production Node | Go to the Prod project to view the task node data. |
Modify person in charge of O&M | Change the person in charge of O&M for the task. Note

Configure Monitoring | Configure monitoring rules for task runs. If a monitoring rule is triggered during a run, the system sends you an alert. This helps you quickly identify exceptions and ensure that business data is generated as expected. For more information, see Offline task monitoring overview. Note You can configure monitoring only for tasks in Prod and Basic projects (production environment tasks). |

In the Actions column, click the
icon or click a task object name to open the task details pane on the right. You can click the
icon to hide the manual task list on the left and expand the details pane.

Running a manual task
Click Run to open the Run dialog box.
In the Run dialog box, configure the following parameters.

Business Date
You can select By Range, By Period, or Custom. By Range is selected by default, and the default range is
Current business date to current business date.By Range: Select a time range. The time span cannot be longer than one year. Use this option for tasks that need to run for consecutive business dates.
By Period: Select a time range and specify the days of the week or month. The time span cannot be longer than one year, and the default range is
Current business date to current business date. Use this option for tasks that need to run on specific days of the week or month within a range of consecutive business dates.By Week: The task runs on the selected days of the week, for example, on Mondays and Tuesdays.
By Month: The task runs on the selected dates of the month, for example, on the 1st, 5th, and 10th.
NoteMonth-end refers to the last day of the month.
Custom: Enter multiple business dates in
YYYY-MM-DDformat, separated by pressing Enter. You can enter dates from1900-01-01 to the present. Dates outside this range are invalid.
Number of concurrent runs
The default value is 1. You can enter an integer from 1 to 12.
Run Order
You can select Ascending by Business Date or Descending by Business Date. The default is Ascending by Business Date, which executes tasks sequentially in ascending order of their business dates.
Parameter Configuration
If the task uses local variables, specify their values here. These values apply to all instances generated in this run. You can select Fill in Null Values.
After you configure the parameters, click Submit.
Batch operations
Action | Description |
Run | Select multiple tasks and click Run at the bottom of the list. Configure the business date, number of concurrent runs, and run order for the batch run. For parameter descriptions, see Running a manual task. Note

Modify person in charge of O&M | Select multiple tasks and click Modify person in charge of O&M at the bottom of the list to change the person in charge of O&M for all selected tasks. Note

Modify Priority | Select multiple tasks and click Modify Priority at the bottom of the list to change the priority for all selected tasks. Among all tasks that are ready to run at the same time, tasks with a higher priority run first. After you modify the priority, future runs will use the new priority. Changes to task priority take effect immediately. You do not need to submit or publish the task. Modify Scheduling Resource Group | Select multiple tasks and click Modify Scheduling Resource Group at the bottom of the list to change the scheduling resource group for all selected tasks. Note
