Application management

Permissions

• Super administrators and system administrators can create and manage applications, application groups, application members.

• Application owners can manage their own applications and application members.

Manage application groups

1. On the Dataphin home page, in the top menu bar, choose Service > Service Management.

2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Application Management. On the Application Management page, in the upper-right corner, click the Manage Application Groups button.

3. In the Group Management dialog box, click the Add Group button. Enter a group name of up to 64 characters and then click OK.

   You can also modify and delete application groups from the group management list.

Create an application

1. On the Dataphin home page, in the top menu bar, choose Service > Service Management.

2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Application Management. On the Application Management page, in the upper-right corner, click the + New Application button.

3. In the Add Application dialog box, configure the parameters. For more information, see Request to create an application.

4. Click OK to create the application.

Manage applications

1. The Application Management page displays the name, application group, owner, and last modified time for each application.

2. You can search for applications by name or keyword, or filter them by application group.

3. You can perform the following operations on an application:

   Operation	Description
   Edit	Modify the application configuration. The available settings are the same as those for creating an application.
   Delete	This operation cannot be undone. Proceed with caution.

What to do next

After you create an application, navigate to the My Applications page by choosing Service > Application Management. On this page, you can view applications you have joined and those you have not yet joined. You can use your joined applications to call APIs, or request to join other applications.
