Audio quality score
The audio quality score operator evaluates the quality of an audio file based on its voice signal, background noise, and overall characteristics, and then outputs an objective, quantitative score. This topic describes how to configure the audio quality score operator.
Prerequisites
You must purchase the unstructured data feature for your instance to use the workflow feature.
A workflow has been created. For more information, see Create a workflow.
Background information
The audio quality score operator supports the following file formats: aac, amr, avi, flac, flv, m4a, mkv, mov, mp3, mp4, mpeg, ogg, opus, wav, webm, wma, and wmv.
By default, the audio quality score operator is assigned 1 Core and 2 GB of resources when using the system built-in model, and 0.5 Cores and 1 GB of resources when using a multi-modal Large Language Model (LLM).
Permissions
In a Basic project, project administrators, developers, analysts, and custom project roles that have the Dataset - Use permission can use any dataset in the project as an input or output for the operator.
Procedure
On the Dataphin home page, choose Develop > Data Development from the top menu bar.
On the Developer page, choose Project from the top menu bar.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Data Processing > Workflow. In the Workflow list, click the target workflow to open its canvas. Drag the Audio Quality Score operator from the Operator Library on the left to the canvas. Then, configure the parameters in the Audio Quality Score panel on the right.
Parameter
Description
Step Name
Enter a name for the operator. The name can contain any characters and be up to 256 characters long.
Input Configuration
Dataset
Select the dataset to process. You can only select a mixed dataset. After you select a dataset, select a version. The default is the first version of the dataset.
When this operator is a downstream operator, the selected dataset is usually the same as the output dataset of the upstream operator.
Input Field
The storage URL of the audio file to process. Select a source field from the input dataset. You can only select fields for which the Is URL parameter is set to Yes.
Filter Condition (Optional)
Use SQL syntax. Enter only the filter condition that follows the WHERE clause. You can use system global variables, such as the data timestamp ${bizdate}.
Operator Configuration
Processing Model
Select a system built-in model (Audiobox Aesthetics) or a multi-modal LLM. If you select a multi-modal LLM, you must specify the Model for the operator. You can only select models that are of the Audio type and are enabled in Intelligent Application Management > Model Configuration.
Output Configuration
Dataset
You can select the source dataset or another dataset. If the metadata table of the source dataset does not have a primary key, another dataset is selected as the output dataset by default.
If you select another dataset, you must also specify a mixed dataset or a table dataset and its version as the output dataset. The default is the first version of the dataset. You can also select other versions of the source dataset.
If you select the source dataset, the metadata generated by the operator is written to the metadata table that corresponds to the same version of the source dataset.
Loading Policy
If the metadata table of the selected output dataset has a primary key, the default policy is to update on primary key conflict. If there is no primary key, the default policy is to append data.
Append data: Directly appends new data to the destination table. A fault is reported if a primary key or constraint violation occurs.
Update on primary key conflict: If a primary key or constraint violation occurs, the old data in the entire row with the duplicate primary key is deleted before the new data is inserted.
Overwrite: Deletes the data in the destination table before writing the new data.
NoteIf you select source dataset as the output dataset, only the Update on primary key conflict loading policy is supported.
Field Mapping
The audio quality score operator always outputs the following fields:
over_quality_score: The overall quality score of the audio, which provides a comprehensive assessment of its audibility. The score ranges from 0 to 1. A higher score indicates better quality.signal_quality_score: The signal quality score, which assesses the clarity and naturalness of the voice signal. The score ranges from 0 to 1. A higher score indicates better quality.bg_noise_quality_score: The background noise score, which assesses the level of interference from background noise. The score ranges from 0 to 1. A higher score indicates better quality.
By default, the operator's output fields are mapped to fields with the same names in the output dataset. You can also manually select destination fields for custom mapping. Additionally, you can map pass-through fields from the source dataset to the destination dataset. Manage field mappings in the following ways:
Add Output Field: Click to add a new, empty field mapping row. This feature is available only when you select another dataset as the output dataset.
Batch Mapping: Click to choose between batch manual mapping, same-name mapping, or same-row mapping. This feature is available only when you select another dataset as the output dataset.
Delete Mapping: Click the Delete icon to delete the corresponding field mapping row. You cannot delete the mappings for the operator's fixed output fields.
After you complete the configuration, click Save in the menu bar at the top of the canvas.
After you configure an operator, you can select upstream or downstream operators to complete the workflow.
