Datasource management
You can control the concurrency of quality rules on a data source to prevent quality checks from affecting normal business operations.
Prerequisites
A data source is created. For more information, see or Dataphin supported data sources.
Procedure

Navigate to the Dataphin home page, and from the top menu bar, select Administration > Data Quality.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose System Administration > Datasource Management. On the Data Management page, single click the desired data source in the Actions column and select Throttling Settings to open the Throttling Settings dialog box.

Within the Throttling Settings dialog box, configure the Throttling Period.
To add multiple periods, up to a maximum of 10, single click Add Period.

Description
Effective Period
The time range during which throttling is active.
Maximum Parallel Rules
The maximum number of quality rules that can run concurrently. The value cannot exceed 1000.
Actions
If there are more than two periods, single click the
icon to delete a period. -
Confirm your settings by clicking OK.
Note-
The new throttling configuration takes effect within one minute.

After the settings are applied, you can view the active throttling periods and the maximum number of concurrent validation rules on the Datasource Management list page.
