Data standard template library

Updated at:

Dataphin provides a built-in template library for quickly creating data standards, with lookup tables for human, economic, and regional attributes.

Permission description

Super administrators and data standard administrators can reference lookup tables and lookup table directories.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Administration > Standard from the top menu bar on the Dataphin home page.

  2. From the left-side navigation pane, choose General Configuration > Template Library, and access the Standard Template Library page.

  3. View lookup table templates in the general template library. The left-side directory lists categories such as human, economic, and regional attributes. Select a directory to view its lookup tables on the right, which display names, code value counts, descriptions, and directory levels. To view all lookup tables, clickAll Lookup Tables.

  4. (Optional) To search for a specific lookup table template, enter its name, encoding, or a keyword from its description in the search bar located in the upper right corner of the standard template library or the lookup table list.

  5. The following actions can be performed on the desired template:

    Operation Item

    Description

    Reference

Select and reference a lookup table directory or table from the template library to add it to your lookup table page. For more information, see.

    View

Access detailed information about the lookup table, including its basic and code data.

Each table is saved as an individual .xlsx file. Exporting multiple tables simultaneously will package them into a .zip file.

Introduce lookup table template library

You can reference lookup tables from the template library in three ways: click the reference icon next to a directory, click the Batch Reference And Add Lookup Table button at the bottom of the directory tree, or select lookup tables from the list and click Reference in the batch operation area. Configure the parameters described below.

  1. In the Batch Reference And Add Lookup Table dialog box, set the parameters as follows:

    Parameter

    Description

    Lookup Table Template

Select the template that contains the lookup table you want to introduce.

    Add To Directory

Select the target directory for the introduced lookup table.

    Introduce Content

Specify whether to include the directory structure. Options:Only Introduce Lookup Table and Lookup Table + Directory.

    • Lookup Table + Directory: Adds all selected directories and their lookup tables to the next level of the specified directory, preserving the original hierarchy. Typically used for referencing an entire root directory. If the result exceeds the maximum directory depth, the addition is not performed.

    Duplicate Lookup Table

Specify how to handle duplicate lookup tables during the introduction.

    • Skip: If a lookup table's name or encoding matches an existing one in the same directory, the duplicate is skipped.
