Objects related to an integration task include the input and output objects of the current integration task, dependent objects, and downstream tasks that use the current task as an upstream dependency. You can view and manage these related objects from the Related panel.

Access related objects for an integration task

  1. In the top menu bar on the Dataphin homepage, choose R&D > Data Development.

  2. On the Integration page, in the top menu bar, select Project. (If you are in Dev-Prod mode, you must also select an environment.)

  3. In the navigation pane on the left, click Batch Pipeline. Then, select and click the offline pipeline for which you want to configure a channel.

  4. In the right-side navigation pane, click Related to open the Related panel.

Overview of objects related to integration tasks

The Related panel lists the input objects, output objects, dependent objects, and downstream tasks associated with the current integration task. You can view and manage these objects from this panel.

  • Input objects

Input objects are tables that input components reference and read in integration tasks. The list displays the table name, Chinese table name, and table type. You can filter input tables by type, including logical dimension tables, logical fact tables, logical aggregate tables, data source objects, and physical tables. Click the Actions column icon image for an input object to view its details.

  • Output objects

Output objects are tables generated by output components in integration tasks. The list displays the table name, Chinese name, and table type. You can search for output tables by entering keywords from the object name. Click the icon in the Actions column of an output object to view its details.image

    Note

Only tables in the Dataphin asset catalog can be written to by a task. Tables in external data sources cannot be listed as output tables.

  • Dependent objects

Dependent objects are resources that the current task relies on, such as public calendars and global variables.

    • Public Calendar: Lists the public calendar objects associated with the current task, including calendar code, calendar name, and reference method. Click the Actions column image icon to view its details.

    • Global Variables: Lists the global variable objects associated with the current task, including variable code and variable name. You can click the Actions column icon image to view its details.

  • Downstream tasks

Downstream tasks are integration tasks and logical tables that directly depend on the current task as an upstream dependency. The list displays the downstream node name/ID, node type, referenced parameters, , associated project/module, scheduling cycle, and owner. You can click image to filter downstream tasks by node type, referenced parameters, node project/module, , scheduling cycle, and O&M owner. Click the image icon in the Actions column of a downstream task to view its details.
