Troubleshoot common causes that prevent access to a DataV workspace.

Cannot access a workspace?

  • Cause 1: The account does not have permission to access the workspace, or its permissions were removed.

    Solution: On the Workspace Management page, add the RAM user as a member of the workspace and grant the required permissions.

  • Cause 2: The product edition was downgraded, and the number of user accounts now exceeds the limit for the new edition.

    Solution: To increase the user limit, upgrade your edition or purchase a user extension package.

  • Cause 3: The workspace does not exist or has been deleted.

    Solution: Search for the workspace to verify that it exists. If it has been deleted, you must create a new one.
