How to purchase DataV-Note-DataV(DataV)-阿里云帮助中心

This topic describes how to activate the DataV-Note (intelligent analysis) service. After you activate the service, you can use it for intelligent data analysis and to create visualized graphs.

Activate the service

To activate DataV-Note, follow these steps:

Go to the DataV-Note service activation page.
Select the Edition and Duration. Follow the on-screen instructions to create the following service-linked role. This role allows DataV-Note to access other Alibaba Cloud services.
- Role Name: AliyunServiceRoleForDataVNote
- Role Access Policy: AliyunServiceRolePolicyForDataVNote

Click Buy Now.
On the Confirm Order page, confirm the purchase information, check the Terms of Service, and click Pay.
On the Payment page, review the order details and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.

Appendix: Service-linked Role

When you activate DataV-Note, the system automatically creates the AliyunServiceRoleForDataVNote service-linked role. This role is granted the AliyunServiceRolePolicyForDataVNote access policy. This policy allows the service-linked role to access other Alibaba Cloud services on your behalf.

Note

A service-linked role is a type of Resource Access Management (RAM) role whose trusted entity is an Alibaba Cloud service. Service-linked roles are used to resolve cross-service access authorization issues. For more information about service-linked roles, see Service-linked roles.
The AliyunServiceRolePolicyForDataVNote policy is updated by the corresponding Alibaba Cloud service as needed. Do not grant this policy to any RAM identity other than the AliyunServiceRoleForDataVNote service-linked role.

Log on to the Resource Access Management (RAM) console and follow the steps in the following figure to go to the details page of the AliyunServiceRoleForDataVNote service-linked role. On this page, you can view basic information such as the role name and creation time.

On the details page of the AliyunServiceRoleForDataVNote role, on the Permission Management tab, click the access policy name to view the policy details.
