Preview and publish reports

After creating an analysis report, you can preview it to identify and adjust any content that does not meet your requirements. You can then publish the report, export it in a specific format, or share it with other applications.

Prerequisites

  • You have created a project. For more information, see Create a project.

  • You have created an analysis report. For more information, see Supported analysis unit types.

Go to the Preview & Publish page

Go to the target project to preview, publish, or share reports.

  1. Go to the project editing page.

    1. Log on to the DataV-Note console.

    2. On the All Projects > All tab, hover over the target project and click Edit.

  2. In the upper-right corner, click Preview & Publish.

    On this page, you can perform the following operations:

Preview the report

On the Preview & Publish page, you can preview the report, rearrange its layout, and configure its display style.image

Edit the report

If the report content does not meet your requirements, click Back to Edit to return to the report creation page and modify the content.

Collapse or expand the publish settings panel

Collapses or expands the publish settings panel on the right. The panel is expanded by default.

Set the report display style

In the publish settings panel, you can configure the following:

  • Author & Publication Time: Shows or hides the author and publication time at the top of the report page.

  • Show Code: Shows or hides the analysis code in the report.

  • Page Width: Sets the width of the report page. When you select adaptive width, the page fills the display window, and you can set a Max Width.

  • Theme: Switches the color theme of the report.

    Note

    Switching the theme only changes the color of the displayed report. It does not change the theme of the project editor.

  • Watermark: Adds a custom watermark to the report.

View the report outline

Hover over the top of the right sidebar to view the report's outline, which helps you quickly understand its content structure.

Adjust the report layout

Enter layout mode to optimize the report's layout by dragging analysis units or adjusting their height and width.blob

Publish the report

On the Preview & Publish page, click the Publish icon to publish the current report. After the report is published, you can perform the following operations.image

Display the report in full screen

Click Open Report Page to display the published report in full screen.

This operation is available only for published reports.

Copy the report link

Once the report is published, copy its access link to share with others.

Update or unpublish the report

  • Update Publication: If you edit the report's content or adjust its style after publishing, click Update Publication to publish the latest version.

    Note

    Updating the publication only changes the report's content and style. The report link remains the same.

  • Unpublish: Click Cancel Publication to unpublish the report and change its status to Unpublished.

View publication information

Displays the publication status and time of the report.

Export and share the report

On the Preview & Publish page, you can click the image icon and follow the on-screen instructions to export the report to a specific format or share it with other applications.

  • Export: You can only export an analysis report in the following formats: JPG images, PDF, Word, or PPT.

    Note
    • You can edit exported Word and PPT reports.

    • When you export to PPT, the platform automatically extracts key information.

  • Share: You can share an analysis report via email, DingTalk, or WeChat.

    Note

    The appearance of the shared analysis report varies depending on the application:

    • Share to email: By default, the analysis report is sent as editable text.

    • Share to DingTalk or WeChat: By default, the analysis report is sent as an image.
