To improve the quality and stability of the scheduling service, DataWorks plans to adjust the schedule-to-instance time (the time window for generating the next day's scheduled instances) in batches from 17:00 to 22:00 (UTC+8) on June 15, June 17, June 23, and June 25, 2026. After the adjustment, the daily schedule-to-instance start time will be moved from 23:30 to 22:00 in the scheduling time zone. No action is required in most cases. If your workflows depend on the instance generation time (for example, you submit tasks after 22:00 and expect instances to be generated the next day, or you use APIs to check whether next-day instances are ready), plan ahead accordingly. Impact
After the schedule-to-instance time is moved earlier, tasks submitted after 22:00 will have their next-day instances generated on the third day instead.
Example: A user submits a scheduled task at 23:00 on July 10. Before the adjustment, the system generates the instance for July 11 at 23:30 on July 10. After the adjustment, the schedule-to-instance process starts at 22:00 on July 10. Since the task is submitted at 23:00, it is not included in this batch. The instance will not be generated until 22:00 on July 11 for execution on July 12. In other words, a task submitted at 23:00 on July 10 will not have an instance generated or run on July 11. The task will only generate an instance and run on July 12.
