Data Catalog provides a unified interface to manage and explore AI Catalog metadata. This topic describes how to use Data Catalog to manage dataset and model metadata from AI Catalog.

Go to the AI Catalog page

Go to the Workspaces page in the DataWorks console. In the top navigation bar, select a desired region. Find the desired workspace and choose Shortcuts > Data Studio in the Actions column.
In the navigation pane on the left, click the icon. In the Data Directory directory tree, click AI Catalog to open the AI Catalog management page.

Manage AI Catalog data

You can manage datasets and models in AI Catalog.

View public datasets

In the directory tree, click the icon next to AI Catalog and navigate to Datasets > Public Dataset.
Click Public Dataset to open the Public Dataset list page.
In the search box, enter a dataset name or keywords to find the desired dataset.
From the search results, click a dataset name to open its details page and view its Basic information, such as storage Size and Data volume.
For more details, on the Basic information tab, click Click to view next to Data Set Introduction. This opens a webpage with detailed information about the dataset.

Manage custom datasets

Create a custom dataset

In the directory tree, click the icon next to AI Catalog and navigate to Datasets > Custom Datasets.
Click the icon to the right of Custom Dataset to open the PAI console.
Navigate to AI Asset Management > Datasets. On the Custom tab, create a custom dataset.

View a custom dataset.
1. In the directory tree, click the icon next to AI Catalog and navigate to Datasets > Custom Datasets.
2. Click Custom Datasets to open the Custom Datasets list page.
3. In the search box, enter a dataset name or keywords to find the desired dataset.
4. From the search results, click a dataset name to open its details page and view its Basic information, such as storage Type and Visibility Scope.
5. For more details, on the Basic information tab, click the Data set ID to view detailed information about the dataset.
You can update or delete custom datasets in the Platform for Artificial Intelligence (PAI) console. For instructions, see Manage datasets in PAI.

Manage models

Register a model

In the directory tree, click the icon next to AI Catalog and find Model.
Click the icon to the right of Model to open the PAI console.
Navigate to AI Asset Management > Model to register a model.

Manage models

View a model.
1. In the directory tree, click the icon next to AI Catalog and find Model.
2. Click Model to open the Model list page.
3. In the search box, enter a model name or keywords to find the desired model.
4. From the search results, click a Model Name to open its details page and view its Basic information, such as Latest Version and Visibility Scope.
5. For more details, on the Basic information tab, click the Model ID to view detailed information about the model.
To delete models, use the Platform for Artificial Intelligence (PAI) console. For instructions, see Manage models in PAI.
