DataWorks automatically saves files downloaded in CSV or XLSX format from DataStudio, DataAnalysis, or Security Center in the Data Download feature. This feature lets you re-download previously downloaded files to your local computer and trace past download operations.
Prerequisites
You have downloaded data from one of the following modules:
-
: You have queried and downloaded data from DataAnalysis by using SQL statements. For more information, see SQL query (legacy).
-
: You have downloaded data from a spreadsheet in DataAnalysis. For more information, see Download a spreadsheet.
-
: You have queried and downloaded data from DataStudio by using SQL statements. For more information, see DataStudio (legacy) and Data Studio (new version).
NoteDataStudio cannot export more than 10,000 rows of MaxCompute data. To export a larger dataset, use the SQL query (legacy) feature in DataAnalysis or a Tunnel command.
-
: You have downloaded data from transfer logs in Security Center. For more information, see Entity transfer.

-
You can download only files that are in the Downloadable status.
Find the target file and click Download in the Actions column. The following list describes the file statuses:
-
Downloadable: The file can be downloaded.
-
Download Rejected: The download is blocked because an Alibaba Cloud account or a RAM user with high-level permissions has configured an extension that handles the pre-download event and blocks the download.
-
Expired: Files are retained on this page for 7 days after being downloaded from their source module. After this period, they expire and cannot be downloaded.
-
Risk detection in: The file is unavailable for download until the detection is complete and successful. By default, risk detection is disabled. If an Alibaba Cloud account or a RAM user with high-level permissions configures an extension to handle the pre-download event, the platform performs risk detection. You can then resolve any identified risks based on the scan results.
To manage at-risk data in specific workspaces, you can configure risk identification rules to implement approvals and controls for file downloads.
