DataAnalysis provides card and report features that let you quickly visualize data and create reports without downloading it.

Billing

Limitations

  • Region limits: This feature is available only in China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), China (Shenzhen), China (Zhangjiakou), China (Chengdu), and China (Ulanqab).

  • Quota limits: You can create a maximum of 2,000 reports and 10,000 visualization cards.

Various visualization styles help you quickly build a custom knowledge base.

Create a visualization card

  1. On the DataAnalysis page, click Go to DataAnalysis. In the left-side navigation pane, click the image icon to go to the SQL Query page. Under My Files, click Create File, run an SQL query and wait for the results.

  2. In the query results area, click the image icon to view the auto-generated visualization. You can then perform the following operations:

    • View data details: In the upper-right corner, click the image.png icon and select View charts/data to switch between the card and the detailed data.

    • Edit the card: Click the image.png icon to configure Data settings, Style settings, and a custom card title for the generated visualization.

      Hover over the card title or description and double-click to customize the title or add a description.

      Data settings

      • In the Data Column list on the left, select or drag data columns to the corresponding configuration fields. You can manually configure sorting, aggregation, and grouping granularity.

      • In the Screening area, select the data columns to use as filters and set the filter conditions. You can also set a separate filter range for each field.

      • In the Annotations area, add special markers such as the average or median value.

      Style settings

      On the right side of the page, click Style to open the style settings panel. This panel includes three tabs: Global Settings, Change Chart, and Chart Style.

      • On the Global Settings tab, select a theme for the card and configure the chart text and information.

      • On the Change Chart tab, select a different chart type, such as a column chart, bar chart, pie chart, line chart, or radar chart.

      • On the Chart Style tab, configure the chart's display format, color, and the style of the x-axis and y-axis.

  3. In the upper-right corner, click Save to apply the settings and return to the query results area.

  4. In the upper-right corner of the query results area, click Save to store the visualization as a visualization card.

  5. Click the Copilot button in the upper-left corner to generate a chart and save it as a card.

Manage visualization cards

  1. In the left-side navigation pane, click the image Cards icon to go to the Cards page.

  2. On the Cards page, view all your saved cards.

  3. In the upper-right corner of a card, click the image.png icon to perform operations such as Edit, View charts/data, Data Update Settings, Copy, or Delete.

  4. In the upper-right corner of a card, click Share to share the card as a link to DingTalk or WeChat. You can choose to enable password protection. By default, password protection is disabled.

    Important

    If a permission error occurs, contact your tenant administrator. The administrator must navigate to Security Center > Data query and analysis control > Query result control and enable allow sharing and allow downloads for Cards. For more information, see data query and analysis control.

Visualization reports

You can switch between various themes, adjust the card order, and edit titles to create a personalized report.

Create a visualization report

  1. In the left-side navigation pane of DataAnalysis, click the image Reports icon to go to the Reports page.

  2. In the upper-right corner, click Create Report. In the dialog box that appears, select the cards you want to add and click OK.

  3. On the report creation page, build your data report.

    • Adjust order: In the Card Order area on the left, drag cards to change their display order in the report.

    • Adjust layout and theme: In the Report Settings area on the right, set the report's layout and theme.

  4. After configuring the settings, click Create in the upper-right corner to create the report.

Manage visualization reports

  1. All created reports are listed on the Reports page.

  2. In the upper-right corner of a report, click the image.png icon to Edit, Copy, or Delete the report.

  3. In the upper-right corner of a report, click Share to share the report as a link to DingTalk or WeChat. You can choose to enable password protection. By default, password protection is disabled.

    Important
