Data Asset Governance lets you add a governance issue that requires no action to a whitelist. You can manage all whitelists on a centralized page. A whitelisted governance issue is not flagged by checks during its validity period. This topic describes how to view and manage whitelists.

Prerequisites

View and manage whitelists

  1. Go to the Data Asset Governance page.

Log on to the DataWorks console. In the top navigation bar, select the desired region. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Governance > Data Asset Governance. On the page that appears, click Go to Data Asset Governance.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Governance > Allowlist to go to the Allowlist management page.

  3. View and manage whitelists.

On the whitelist management page, you can view whitelists for a specific workspace or for all workspaces. You can also view the details of a whitelist or disable it.

    Description

    Filter and search

In this area, you can filter whitelists by Belongs work space, Environment, and Applicant to view the whitelists that meet the specified criteria.

You can also search for whitelists by Resource Name and Workspace Name.

    Note
    • Alibaba Cloud accounts and RAM users with the AliyunDataWorksfullAccess permission can view whitelists across all workspaces.

    • The Workspace filter displays only the workspaces that you have joined.

    • Searching by Resource Name and Workspace Name supports fuzzy matching, which means you can enter a keyword to find all whitelists that contain it.

In this area, you can view basic information about a whitelist, such as Whitelist ID, Resource Name, Workspace, Resource Type, Optimization Item, and Status.

You can also perform the following management actions on a whitelist:

    • View whitelist details: In the Actions column, click View Details.

    • Disable a whitelist: In the Actions column, click Close. The associated governance issue will then be detected in subsequent checks.

    Note

A whitelist is no longer effective after it expires. To continue whitelisting the issue, go to the Governance Issue page and add it to the whitelist again. For more information, see Handle governance issues.
