Usage
Except for the retail and e-commerce template, the full edition of each industry model template must be purchased. To make a purchase, go to the Modeling Templates for Various Industries home page, click Contact Us, and scan the QR code with DingTalk to contact a representative for a purchase link.
Template list page
Log on to the DataWorks console. In the target region, click in the left-side navigation pane. Select a workspace from the drop-down list and click Go to Data Development.

icon in the upper-left corner and choose . -
In the top navigation bar, click Modeling Templates for Various Industries to open the industry model template page.
This page lists data warehouse model templates for industries such as retail and e-commerce, banking, and automotive manufacturing. You can select and try out a template for a specific industry based on your needs. You can also go to the Modeling Templates for Various Industries home page, click Contact Us, and scan the QR code with DingTalk to contact a representative for more details about other industry model templates.
Template details page
The industry template details page displays a summary of the template's contents and statistics about its modeling objects, such as data warehouse planning, models, and metrics. Before purchasing the full edition, you can try the trial edition for free.

Trial edition: The trial edition contains a subset of models from the corresponding full edition template. You can load the trial edition for free to explore some of the models available in a specific industry template.
When you load a template, you can choose to either skip or overwrite existing objects that have the same name. After the template loads, you can navigate to the corresponding module in Data Modeling to view and use the created objects. On the industry template details page, click Free Use Trial Edition. In the Load Template dialog box that appears, configure the settings and click Load. Loading is complete when the progress bar reaches 100%.

Full edition: The full edition of an industry model template is built by experienced data warehouse architects. It includes comprehensive content for a typical data warehouse model for that industry, such as data warehouse planning, data standards, conceptual models, logical models, atomic metrics, and derived metrics.
