The Resource O&M feature monitors the usage of resource groups used to run DataWorks nodes. This topic describes how to use the Resource O&M feature.
Background information
You can customize monitoring metrics and automated O&M rules for instances running on a resource group based on your business requirements. The Resource O&M page visualizes resource group usage and instance status. This enables automated monitoring and O&M for resource groups and instances, which reduces manual operations and improves O&M efficiency.

Resource O&M supports only exclusive resource groups for scheduling and exclusive resource groups for Data Integration.

The Resource O&M feature is available in the following regions: China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), China (Zhangjiakou), China (Shenzhen), China (Hong Kong), Japan (Tokyo), Singapore, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Indonesia (Jakarta), Germany (Frankfurt), US (Silicon Valley), US (Virginia), and UAE (Dubai).
Go to the Resource O&M page

Log on to the DataWorks console. In the target region, click in the left-side navigation pane. Select a workspace from the drop-down list and click Go to Operation Center.

In the navigation pane on the left, choose Resource O&M. By default, the page displays a list of exclusive resource groups used by DataWorks.
Resource group list
The Resource O&M page displays the resource groups currently used to run DataWorks nodes (resource groups that are in the Running state). You can perform the following operations:

Search for a resource group.
Enter a resource group name in the search box and click
to perform a fuzzy search. -
View other resource groups.
Click View All in the upper-right corner to go to the Resource Groups page in the DataWorks console.

Resource group details
The resource group details page displays the usage of a specific resource group, including its basic information, usage curve, and a list of nodes. You can also customize monitoring rules to implement intelligent monitoring and automated O&M for your resources. To view and configure O&M rules, see Automated O&M.

You can set a time range to filter the resource usage that you want to view. You can also hover over the usage curve to view resource usage at a specific time. |
