You can use the alert information feature to view all alerts from the smart monitoring module. These alerts include baseline warnings, event alerts from smart baselines, and alerts from custom and global rules. This topic describes how to view alert details.

Background information

  • On the Alert Information page, you can view the details of received alerts. These details include the monitoring rule that triggered the alert, the alert trigger conditions, and the reason you received the alert. If you have questions about an alert, you can check the trigger mechanism for that rule type. For more information, see Task monitoring.

  • If you do not want to receive a specific type of alert, you can send the URL of the alert details page to the rule creator. The owner can then remove you from the alert recipients list on the Rule Management or Smart Baseline page. For more information for rule creators, see Baseline management and Rule management.

Go to the Alert Information page

  1. Go to the Operation Center.

Log on to the DataWorks console. In the target region, click Data Development and O&M > Operation Center in the left-side navigation pane. Select a workspace from the drop-down list and click Go to Operation Center.

  2. On the Operation Center page, click Monitoring and Alerting > Alerts in the navigation pane on the left to go to the Alert Information page.

报警详情

  • Object: The abnormal task that triggered the alert. This is the specific object from the list of monitored objects that triggered the alert.

  • Alert Status: The type of alert that the task triggered. This status corresponds to the alert trigger conditions of the rule. If you have questions about the alert trigger conditions, you can check the documentation for confirmation. For more information, see Smart monitoring overview.

  • Alert Contact: The user who receives the alert. This is usually the alert contact defined in the rule. However, if the contact's mobile phone number or email address is not configured correctly, the alert is sent to the owner of the Alibaba Cloud account. If the contact information for the Alibaba Cloud account is also not set, the system sends the alert to the message recipient configured in Basic Receiving Management for notifications about overdue payments, service suspensions, and upcoming releases. To prevent this from happening, you can configure the mobile phone number and email address for the alert contact in the DataWorks console. For more information, see View and set alert contacts.

Note

If you do not want to receive a specific type of alert, you can send the URL of the alert details page to the rule creator. The owner can then remove you from the alert recipients list on the Rule Management or Smart Baseline page.
