After you optimize the data warehouse, validate the results to confirm the effectiveness of the optimization.
If you change the table schema during optimization, delete the original table. Create a new table and partitions based on the optimization policy. Adjust the structure of the test data from this tutorial before you import it.
After you recreate the table and import the data, retest the data warehouse performance. Record the relevant data in the following table and compare it with the performance baseline. For more information, see Establish a performance baseline.
