Dashboard
A dashboard is a visualization application for data analytics in Data Management (DMS). It provides an automatic layout and interactive capabilities. You can use dashboards to perform data analysis and create visual reports. This topic describes the basic concepts, features, and procedures for using dashboards.
Terms
Dashboard collection: An entity for managing and organizing dashboards. You can create multiple dashboards within one collection.
Dashboard: The basic unit for data analytics and visual reports.
Chart or widget: The smallest unit for data visualization. Each chart must be associated with a dataset. A chart is a component of a dashboard or large screen. Charts are generated by performing secondary aggregation and grouping on SQL results based on the dataset's data model. The processed data is then represented visually.
Dimension: A perspective for viewing data, such as time or other categories. The values of a dimension field are usually enumerable. For example, the category field in a pie chart is typically a dimension.
Measure: A quantifiable metric, such as page views, session duration, or transaction amount. For example, the y-axis field of a line chart is typically a measure.
Dashboard interface
The dashboard canvas is the main interface where you edit dashboards, analyze data, and create visual reports.

Chart and widget sizing
You can drag charts and widgets to adjust their position and size on the dashboard canvas.
Chart width is responsive by default. The widths of multiple chart widgets are proportional. When the screen size changes, the chart widths adjust automatically.
Chart height is a fixed value. It does not change with the screen size.
If the dashboard visualization area is wider than 768 pixels, widgets are displayed at their defined proportions. If the area is 768 pixels or less, the layout switches to mobile view.
When you adjust the size and position of a widget, other widgets reflow to adapt to the change.

Trigger the drill-down feature.
Select the chart with configured drill-down dimensions. Right-click the target chart element, click Drill Down, and select a drill-down dimension field.
Example:
Click the first-level drill-down dimension
name. The drill-down condition is nowname, and the dimension filter condition isstudent_id=1810024212.Right-click the column chart and drill down to the second level by selecting the
sexdimension. The drill-down condition is nowstudent_id=1810024212, and the dimension filter condition isname=Xiaohong.
Optional: To return to the previous dimension level, right-click the column chart and click Return.
Optional: To cancel the drill-down operation, click Cancel Drill Down.
Chart filter interaction
