After you configure or modify a data flow, you must publish it for the changes to take effect. This prevents the deployment of unconfirmed modifications.
Log in to DMS 5.0.

In the top navigation bar, choose .
NoteIf you use the DMS console in simple mode, move the pointer over the
icon in the upper-left corner and choose . - Click a data flow name to open its details page.
- Optional: Perform a try run.
- In the upper-left corner of the canvas, click Try Run.
- In the Alert dialog box, click OK.
- Click a blank area on the canvas. Then, at the bottom of the page, click the Execution Logs tab to check the status of the try run.
- If the last line of the execution log shows
status SUCCEEDED, the try run succeeded. - If the last line of the execution log shows
status FAILED, the try run failed.Note- To stop the try run before it completes, click Stop Running in the upper-left corner of the canvas.
- If the try run fails, review the execution log to find the failed node and its cause. Then, modify the node configuration and try again.
- If the last line of the execution log shows
- Publish the data flow.
- In the upper-left corner of the canvas, click Publish.
- In the Publish dialog box, enter a comment in the Remarks field, and then click OK to publish the data flow.
Note To stop scheduling the data flow, unpublish it:- In the upper-left corner of the canvas, click Unpublish.
- In the confirmation dialog box, click OK to unpublish the data flow.
- Required: Confirm the publishing status.
- In the upper-right corner of the canvas, click Go to O&M.
- On the right side of the page, check the publishing status of the data flow.
- Published: The data flow has been published.
- Not published: The data flow has pending edits and is not published.
