Learn how to view your operation and data permissions in Data Management (DMS).

Procedure

  1. Log in to DMS 5.0.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the console, click the 2023-01-28_15-57-17.png icon and choose All Features > Security and Specifications (DBS) > Permission Center > Permissions.

    Note
    • In Normal mode, choose Security and Specifications (DBS) > Permission Center > Permissions from the top menu bar.

    • You can also view your accessible assets at the bottom of the DMS Homepage.

Click the Accessible Assets tab to view the list of authorized assets. You can click the settings icon in the upper-right corner to customize the displayed tabs. Use filter criteria such as Instance Permissions, All Types, All Environments, and In Effect to filter assets. The table shows information such as the instance endpoint, permission type, grant time, expiration time, current status, and environment. Click Permission Details to view specific permissions. To release a permission, select it and click Release Permission.

  3. View your permissions.

    • Click the Ordinary Permissions tab to view your operation permissions, including instance permissions, database permissions, table permissions, sensitive column permissions, and row permissions.

After you select a permission category, such as Instance Permissions, the page lists the permission type, grant time, expiration time, current status, environment, instance name, and security control status for each entry. Click Permission Details for more information.

      Note
      • Instance permissions include permissions to log on to an instance and view its performance.

      • You cannot query or release permissions on programmable objects.

    • Click the Owner Permissions tab to view your data permissions, including permissions on instances, databases, and tables that you own.
